Should be just fine! Because I lived in Mexico City, I never took a connection through there, so not sure if you’ll go through Immigration if you’re just passing through to another country (wasn’t clear if you’re staying in Mexico or not). Either way, I rarely spent more than 15 minutes in the immigration line; the line for nationals is usually longer than the one for foreigners. Bring a pen to avoid the hassle of having to wait to borrow a pen from someone else.
